Former WWF IC & Tag Champion & WWE HOF Comes To LOW.

With the incredible buzz created this week with the official announcement of the return of Legends Of Wrestling and our first guest we are going to jump the gun and announce our second guest sooner than scheduled!
Canadian Wrestling’s Elite is thrilled to announce the iconic Greg “The Hammer” Valentine!
The 2004 WWE Hall Of Fame Inductee has a resume literally a mile long having captured over 40 professional wrestling championships over the span of his career.
Many would be surprised to know that Greg Valentine was originally trained in Canada in the historic dungeon by Stu Hart.
In what is regarded as Valentine’s first big break he would team with the legendary Ric Flair to capture the Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling Tag Team Championships before going to the WWWF for the first time where he sold out Madison Square Garden for a series of World Title matches against then champion Bob Backlund.
Upon returning to Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling in the early 80s “The Hammer” would engage in a bloody feud with Winnipeg’s own Roddy Piper in a series of Dog Collar Matches still spoken of today for the sheer brutality.
In 1984 Greg Valentine would return to the World Wrestling Federation and defeat Tito Santana for the Intercontinental Championship in what is still ranked as the 5th longest IC Title reign of all time.
After Santana recaptured the IC Title Valentine would form The Dream Team with Brutus Beefcake and capture the WWF World Tag Team Championships.
After feuds with Don Muraco and Ronnie Garvin he would enter the tag team ranks once more and form the infamous Rhythm & Blues with The Honky Tonk Man.
Following this run Greg Valentine would spend the 90s competing on and off for both WCW and the WWF and has had a full independent wrestling schedule ever since.
Having held titles in Canada, Puerto Rico for WWC, and across the US for Mid Atlantic, the WWF, Portland Wrestling, and what many CWE fans may remember, a tag team title reign for the AWA among so many more Greg “The Hammer” Valentine is an undeniable Legend Of Wrestling!
