Canadian Wrestling’s Elite’s ground breaking August tour slated for Aug 1st-20th is quickly shaping up to not only be ground breaking for its sheer volume of events but for the caliber of talent signed for this historic tour.
Just signed to appear on 18 of the tour events Aug 1st-18th is one of the most decorated international wrestling stars and athletically gifted competitors actively competing today in “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham!
Fresh to the full time Ring Of Honor roster those not up to speed on wrestling outside of the national organizations may be out of the loop that Jonathan Gresham has been one of the top independent and international wrestling stars for over a decade.
Originally trained by WWE/WCW Alumni Mr. Hughes Gresham would go onto Japan and further his training under ECW Icon Masato Tanaka and Ikuto Hidaka for the Zero-1 organization.
This incredible wrestling pedigree combined with his natural god given abilities have led Gresham to capture the Combat Zone Wrestling World Championship, win the 2016 CZW Best Of The Best Tournament, win the wXw Tag Team Titles in Germany, the Zero-1 World Junior Championship in Japan, the Zero-1 International Junior Championship, and have the distinct honor of being the first gaijin to win Zero-1’s Tenkaichi Junior Tournament among many more top independent wrestling championship.
After competing for years as a freelance competitor for Ring Of Honor he is now an active member of the ROH roster aligned with Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, and Jay White collectively known as Search And Destroy.
CWE presents the “elite” of professional wrestling and Jonathan Gresham fits the bill in every way making for what will be one of the most anticipated debuts in recent memory.
